Accumulated Other Comprehensive Income; an equity component on the balance sheet holding the cumulative balance of items recognized in OCI but bypassing net income (e.g., AFS debt unrealized gains/losses, foreign-currency translation adjustments, certain pension actuarial gains/losses, effective cash-flow-hedge gains/losses). Reclassified to net income when realized.
