hard · Elliott Wave Theory

A bull impulse is labeled as follows: Wave 1 spans 10 points, Wave 3 spans 8 points, and Wave 5 spans 12 points.

Why is this count invalid?

  1. Wave 3 is the shortest of the three impulse waves.
  2. Wave 5 is longer than Wave 3, which is prohibited in standard impulses.
  3. Wave 1 is too large relative to the subsequent waves to be a valid start.
  4. The total swing count must be 9 to have a valid extension.
