easy · National Real Estate Exam

A buyer's agent represents a client who has a limited budget. The agent finds a 'For Sale By Owner' property that perfectly fits the buyer's needs but offers no commission to the agent. The agent should:

  1. Show the property but try to discourage the buyer from liking it.
  2. Not show the property to the buyer since there is no commission.
  3. Inform the buyer about the property and discuss commission payment options.
  4. Tell the buyer the property is already under contract to avoid doing 'free work.'
