Enhanced ACT Glossary

The two triangles whose side ratios must be automatic on the ACT: the 45°–45°–90° with ratio 1 : 1 : √2 (leg : leg : hypotenuse) and the 30°–60°–90° with ratio 1 : √3 : 2 (short leg : long leg : hypotenuse), where the smaller side always faces the smaller angle.
