Counterargument
LSAT glossary · Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
Definition
A serious objection to a position. Strong analysis states it fairly, answers its strongest form, and explains why the thesis still prevails.
Counterargument in plain English
State the strongest version an informed opponent could offer, then answer its reasoning. A weak objection adds length but does not demonstrate control of the issue.
