Disagreement Test
LSAT glossary · Reading Comprehension
Definition
For Point at Issue questions, a candidate statement must receive opposite answers from the two speakers: one commits to yes and the other to no.
Disagreement Test in plain English
Turn the candidate into a yes-or-no question and answer it for each speaker using textual commitments. If either speaker is neutral or both answer the same way, it is not the point at issue.
