SAT Glossary

The one-word test for which model applies: "increases BY 8 per year" is linear (constant amount added), "increases BY 8% per year" is exponential (constant factor multiplied). A percentage of a changing quantity is a changing amount — and the test puts both outcomes (180 vs. 215.89) among the options.
