easy · Elliott Wave Theory ewt-core
A five-wave rise and three-wave decline can be labeled either (1)-(2) of a new advance or A-B within a larger correction. Both counts still satisfy the rules.
What is the most disciplined analysis?
- Rank a preferred count, keep the alternate, and state separate invalidation evidence for each
- Declare the preferred count certain because it was labeled first and currently fits recent price action
- Discard every count because more than one is possible
- Move invalidation levels whenever price reaches them
