easy · Elliott Wave Theory motive

In a five-wave advance, Wave 1 is 10 points long, Wave 3 is 8 points long, and Wave 5 is 6 points long.

How should this count be corrected?

  1. Identify it as a diagonal because motive waves in diagonals always shorten.
  2. Mark it as a truncation since Wave 5 did not travel far enough.
  3. Relabel the structure because Wave 3 cannot be the shortest motive wave.
  4. Accept the count because Wave 3 is longer than Wave 5.
