hard · Volume Spread Analysis wyckoff-phases-schematics

In a textbook Wyckoff accumulation schematic, a Spring (Phase C) is followed by a rally into Phase D, then a reaction that holds well above the Spring low on visibly diminished volume — the Last Point of Support (LPS). A purist now demands the single piece of evidence that most rigorously confirms the Spring was genuine rather than a failed test.

Which observation provides that confirmation?

  1. The reaction to the LPS holds above the Spring low while contracting spread and volume show supply has dried up, and the subsequent rally breaks above the trading range on expanding demand (Sign of Strength)
  2. The Spring itself printed the widest down-spread bar of the entire range, proving the resting stops placed below support were decisively and completely triggered by aggressive sellers pressing the low.
  3. The rally off the Spring reached all the way to the upper boundary of the range, confirming the move carried more than enough thrust and demand to finally escape the Creek and hold firmly above it going forward still.
  4. Volume on the Spring bar clearly exceeded volume on the prior Automatic Rally, showing that the smart money committed its maximum available size right at the low of the entire trading range structure, not later on.
