What happens if a test-taker leaves questions unanswered at the end of a GMAT section?
- The blank questions are simply skipped, with no real effect on the score.
- The system auto-fills each blank using the test-taker's most recent answer.
- The test-taker may return to finish the leftover questions after the scheduled break ends.
- Only the very first unanswered question is penalized; all later blanks are quietly forgiven later.
- A substantial scoring penalty is applied, exceeding the cost of guessing incorrectly.
