Pump A alone can fill an empty tank in 6 hours, and Pump B alone can fill the same tank in 4 hours. A drain in the tank, if left open on a full tank, can empty it in 12 hours. Starting with an empty tank, Pumps A and B are both turned on and the drain is left open at the same time.
