Football Field in plain English
There's no single "correct" price for a company, so bankers value it several different ways, and each method produces a range rather than one exact number. A football field is a chart that stacks all those ranges as horizontal bars so you can see at a glance where they overlap. It gets its name because the bars resemble the yard lines on a football field. The zone where most bars agree is usually where the true value lives.
