Degrees of Trend in plain English
Because waves nest inside larger waves, Elliott gave the size levels an official ranked list of names so everyone means the same thing. From biggest to smallest they run: Grand Supercycle, Supercycle, Cycle, Primary, Intermediate, Minor, Minute, Minuette, Sub-Minuette. It's like a ruler's units going from miles down to millimeters — same idea of measuring, just at wildly different scales, so you can always say exactly how big the wave you're pointing at is.
