Must Be True Question
LSAT glossary · Logical Reasoning

Must Be True Question in plain English
A Must Be True question treats everything in the passage as rock-solid fact and asks: given these facts, what else is DEFINITELY true? You're not adding your own opinions or outside knowledge — you're just following the given statements to a conclusion they force. It's like being told 'every student in the room is over 16, and Sam is in the room'; you can be 100% certain Sam is over 16, and nothing less certain counts. The safe answer is one you could defend by pointing straight at the text, never one that's merely likely or reasonable-sounding.
