Definition
Special consideration: an applicant 65+ who has been a lawful permanent resident for 20+ years studies only the 20 asterisked questions, is asked 10, must answer 6, and may test in their native language via an interpreter.
65/20 Senior Track in plain English
This is a special break for older immigrants who have lived in the U.S. as a legal permanent resident (green-card holder) for a long time. If you're at least 65 and have held your green card for 20+ years, you only study a shortened list of 20 questions (marked with a star) instead of the full 100, and you can even take the test in your own language with an interpreter. Think of it as a well-earned 'easier setting' for people who have already been part of the country for decades. You still get asked 10 of those 20 and need 6 right to pass.
