Middle Close

Volume Spread Analysis Glossary

A bar that closes near the midpoint of its range (between approximately 33% and 67%). In VSA, a middle close often signals indecision or hidden activity: on a wide spread up bar with high volume, a middle close suggests supply entered the market and prevented buyers from closing near the highs.
