On Evaluate, slide a claim to opposite extremes and see if the verdict moves.
Variance Testing in plain English
Use Variance Testing on Evaluate questions. Take the choice to 0% and to 100% of its range. If the conclusion flips, the choice evaluates the argument. A choice that is merely related does not change the verdict when you slide it across its range.
