Buying Climax

Definition
The climactic buying by insiders at the bottom of a decline, characterized by hammer candles with ultra-high volume.
Buying Climax in plain English
Under Anna Coulling's naming, a "buying climax" is the big, decisive BUYING done by insiders (the smart, deep-pocketed players) right at the bottom of a falling market, when scared regular investors are panic-selling. You spot it by huge volume paired with hammer candles — bars with a long lower wick showing price got slammed down but then got bought back up hard by the close. It's like a bargain-hunter quietly scooping up everything a panicked crowd is dumping at fire-sale prices; that hidden flood of buying often marks the end of the decline. (Heads up: Wyckoff-style VSA uses these climax names the opposite way, so always check which system someone means.)
